The Faculty of Medicine has convened the University of Medicine with the events of the 13th Annual Conference of the College, which coincides with its Golden Jubilee celebration and 50 years after its founding.
Participated in the events of Dr. Osama Abdul Hai, Dr. Nasir Al-Jisawi, President of the University of Benha, Dr. Mohamed al-Shahib, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ashraf Hatim, Chairman of the Medical Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of University of Universities, Dr. Adel Al-Eindi, former Minister of Health, President of the Egyptian Medical Association, President of the Egyptian Medical Association and President of the Honor of the Conference, President of the Congress, and former Vice-Dzimad, and Vice-Diress, and former Vice-Diress of the Vice-D.
The Secretary-General of the Association of Juliical Doctors, Dr. Mohammad Ajran, and Dr. Ahmed Anwar, Secretary of the Fund of the Association of Julio Doctors, also participated.
Dr. Osama Abdul Hai, Captain Médecins Egypt, congratulated the family of the Medical College on re-crediting, commending the continued cooperation between the Physicians ' Union and the Medical Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities to support the development of the medical system.
The Doctors ' Captain welcomed the decision of the Coordinating Committee of the Health Colleges Sector of the Supreme Council of Universities to recommend 10% reduction of admissions to medical colleges, emphasizing the need to link the number of admissions to medical colleges with the absorptive capacity of colleges and university hospitals, and their ability to provide high-quality education and training for students during school years, as well as during the period of excellence.
The Chief Medical Officer stressed the importance of linking the number of graduates to continuing medical education opportunities and the number of training posts available to physicians in various disciplines, stressing that the graduation of an unqualified or untrained doctor poses a risk to the health system and the safety of patients.
He also noted that since its inception, Egyptian medical faculties had sought to graduate competent doctors, who had acquired a distinct scientific and professional reputation, and that such an approach must continue by maintaining the quality of medical education and training.
Dr. Nasser Al-Jisawi stressed that, over five decades, the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Benha had been able to deliver its message in the preparation of competent doctors, distinguished scientists and leaders capable of meeting health challenges, noting that college graduates had contributed to the health system within and outside Egypt and had a prominent role in improving medical care.
من جانبه، استعرض الدكتور محمد الأشهب أبرز الإنجازات العلمية والبحثية والتعليمية التي حققتها الكلية والمستشفيات الجامعية، مشيرًا إلى نجاح الكلية في تجديد الاعتماد، إلى جانب التوسع في الشراكات الدولية.
وتناول الدكتور أشرف حاتم جهود تطوير التعليم الطبي في مصر، موضحا أنها ترتكز على ثلاثة محاور رئيسية تشمل تحديث مرحلة البكالوريوس، وتنظيم التدريب خلال سنة الامتياز، وإطلاق البرنامج الوطني لتدريب الأطباء المقيمين لمدة خمس سنوات للحصول على شهادة البورد المصري.
فيما أكد الدكتور عادل العدوي أهمية التحول إلى التعليم الطبي المستمر، والانتقال من أساليب التلقين التقليدية إلى التعلم الذاتي والتفاعلي، مع دمج العلوم الأساسية والسريرية، مشددًا على ضرورة توظيف التحول الرقمي والذكاء الاصطناعي لخدمة المرضى وتطوير الرعاية الصحية.
وفي ختام الفعاليات، كرم الدكتور ناصر الجيزاوي رئيس جماعة بنها نقيب الأطباء الدكتور أسامة عبد الحي، وعمداء كلية الطب وقياداتها السابقين.
