Ambassador of Pakistan meets the President of the Egyptian Union of Football.

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt met today in Cairo with the President of the Egyptian Union of Football, Engineer Hani Abu Reidah, to examine ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in football and sports diplomacy.

During the meeting, Ambassador Atib conveyed greetings and congratulated the people of Pakistan on the exceptional performance and outstanding achievements of Egypt at the recently concluded World Cup for Football Championship and also commended the leadership role of the Egyptian Federation for Football and its contributions to the development of the game in Egypt.

In a gesture that reflects the spirit of solidarity, friendship and appreciation, Ambassador Plead of the Trionda mark, a Pakistani industry, presented a symbol of the international standing of the Pakistani sports industry and the close and extended relations that bring the two countries together.

The two sides shared views on potential areas of cooperation in football, including technical cooperation, capacity-building, youth development and enhanced communication between the two peoples through sport. They also explored opportunities to build on experiences and experiences that contribute to strengthening institutional cooperation and deepening historical friendship relations between Pakistan and Egypt.
