The Egyptian Stock Exchange announced the dealings of internal and major contributors and associated groups during the Sunday session yesterday, which showed purchases on the shares of five companies, against sales on the shares of 13 companies.
The session saw the largest sales of the Arapia Investment and Development Corporation, after a major contributor sold some 53,66 million shares, while a group associated with the main contributor carried out a purchase on the same arrow totalling 2 million shares.
Selling transactions also recorded the sale of 6 million shares from Catlest Partners Middle East, as well as the sale of 2 million shares by an inner group on Arab shares of dairy products (Arab Dire-Banda).
Sales also included the sale of 1 million shares on the shares of the Industrial and Engineering Projects Company at 500,000 shares that were carried out in-house, and another 500,000 shares by an in-house group, while a group associated with the main shareholder sold 850,000 shares of the Arab Real Property Investment Corporation (Alico).
In the other shares, a group of 182.5 thousand shares of cement Sinai and 121.35 thousand shares of the eastern survivors of the carpet have been sold by a major contributor of 100,000 shares from Spa International pharmaceuticals and chemical industries.
The share of the World Trade Bank - Egypt (CIB) has seen several sales by interior and associated groups totalling 71.76 thousand shares, while transactions included the sale of 35.79 thousand shares from Egypt for housing and reconstruction, 10,000 Arab shares of the Sultan Alliance and 2,000 shares from the World Trade Bank in several separate operations.
On the procurement side, 100 thousand shares were purchased from Palm Hills for Reconstruction, and 196 thousand shares were purchased from the Talat Mustafa holding group.
The transactions also included the purchase of 2 million shares from Arabia Investment and Development by a group associated with the main contributor, as well as the purchase of 2.27 million shares from the Castle Financial Investments Company by an inner group, and 8701 shares from the Mercy of the Tourism Development Architecture by a group linked to the main contributor.
