For the first time, the Russian house in Cairo hosts the activities of the international competition Agro NTRI in the Agro NTRI group, with the participation of school students from various governorates, under an international initiative aimed at developing innovation in the agricultural sector and preparing a new generation of innovators in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence.
This year the competition is international in nature, at the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, where Egypt is in the process of organizing competitions for the first time, allowing students to participate in high-technical agricultural projects that contribute to linking education and practical application and support the concepts of food security and sustainable development.
Competitions are launched on 10 August 2026 at the headquarters of the Russian house in Cairo (127 Avenue of liberation, Daqi, Jiza), while the city of Alexandria hosts the second round on 11 August 2026 at the headquarters of the Russian house (5 Pallasah Street, East Side), at 12 noon.
The competition is aimed at school students between the ages of 10 and 17, allowing attendance by parents of matters and facilities, with participants providing a document for personal proof upon registration.

Competitions are carried out under the supervision of experts and academics from the State University of Straboulal Agriculture, where participants are faced with practical challenges using specialized agricultural robots that simulate modern agricultural processes, including seed planting, harvesting, transporting agricultural products, livestock care and soil processing, as well as a field track with a range of tasks and obstacles.
The winners will have the opportunity to represent Egypt in the international finals, which are scheduled to take place from 7 to 11 October 2026 in the Russian capital, Moscow, on the margins of the golden acronym, which brings together the best qualified teams. All participants will also receive memorial gifts from the State University of Straboul Agriculture.
The international version of the competition witnessed the participation of students from 12 States, including Egypt, in three main categories: agrospace, agro-facilitators (unmanned aircraft) and agrobotics.
The Labinski farm complex in the Krasnadar region is the general partner of the competition, while the project is carried out by the Innovations Support Fund, the Association of Educational Institutions for the Industrial Agricultural and Fisheries Sector, and the Centro Program Sim Group, with the support of the Russian Federal Ministries of Agriculture and Education.
