In a strategic step aimed at strengthening humanitarian frameworks and upgrading the training, information and international education sectors in the Arab region, the United Nations Training and Information Organization (UNITO) officially announced the selection of Dr. Hani Sharif as Ambassador and member of the organization, and his adoption as a strategic partner and official agent in Saudi Arabia, to be the main headquarters of the Agency ' s work in Jeddah.

This international decision is an expression of the deep appreciation of Dr. Al-Sharif ' s bidding process and a culmination of his ongoing community efforts, which have passed beyond the local level, to respect and pay special tribute to the major relevant international bodies and organizations for his outstanding diplomacy, which was evident during the recent Conference of the Manufacturers of Hope, held in the Arab Republic of Egypt in attendance.

The organization explained, in its decision, that Dr. Hani Al-Sharif ' s choice was based on a solid ground of competence and field expertise; it had a significant knowledge and practical balance in the areas of humanitarian and community development, as well as its demonstrated capacity to formulate qualitative initiatives that served the target groups.

The organization ' s Director-General in the Middle East and North Africa region, Mohamed Abuzid, priced the great role of Dr. Hani Al-Sharif, for his international weight and strategic complement, and that the organization ' s management had given Dr. Al-Sharif the status of the strategic partner and the official agent of Jeddah to build a solid bridge to support professional and media development programmes and expand volunteer initiatives in line with the ambitious development visions of Saudi Arabia.
In a special press release following the decision, Dr. Hani Al-Sharif expressed deep gratitude and pride for the overwhelming international trust of the United Nations Training and Public Information Organization, stressing that such a choice placed new and focused obligations on him.

The Sheriff added that the status of Ambassador and strategic partner of the Organization in our precious homeland is not merely an honour, but a major responsibility and a mandate that makes me feel more responsible for the society; we are at a stage that requires concerted efforts to provide an honourable interface between the media platform and the depth of academic training, serving the lofty humanitarian goals and enhancing the efficiency of institutional volunteerism.

Mediator Mohamed Abuzid concluded that the selection of agents of the organization throughout Saudi Arabia had never been a vacuum, but had been carried out with diplomacy and great care, noting that the organization was working on the conference of hope makers 2027 of Saudi Arabia, and that the organization would only include the important and effective personnel of society.

For his part, Dr. Hani expressed his gratitude: I have the honour of this kind trust, and I consider it to be the beginning of a new responsibility and not a point of arrival, and in this mandate I am pleased that it is in line with my belief that genuine investment in man, through education, training, targeted information and institutional volunteering.

I will, with God ' s permission, work with all partners in the governmental, private and non-profit sectors to build qualitative initiatives that contribute to the development of competencies, the empowerment of young people and the promotion of a culture of community responsibility, consistent with Saudi Arabia ' s 2030 vision targets.

I believe that real success is not measured by titles, but by the impact that we leave in people ' s lives, so I will do everything I can to be a platform for the service of the nation and of the human being, and represent the Kingdom in a way that is fitting its standing and sport.
