The Egyptian embassy of the Federal Republic of Egypt celebrated the 74th anniversary of the National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the 23rd anniversary of July, through a diplomatic reception held in exceptional settings at the Bushkin National Museum of Fine Arts, Russian capital Moscow, one of the most prominent and ethnic cultural institutions of Russia.
The celebration was particularly important because it was first set up in the Bushkin Museum, in a historic precedent since the opening of the museum in 1912, where it had never hosted a celebration of the national holiday of any foreign State, reflecting the status of Egyptian Russian relations and the ongoing development in various areas, particularly cultural and humanitarian cooperation, reflecting the deep historical and civilizational ties that bring together friendly countries and peoples.
The ceremony was opened by Ambassador Hamdi Shaban of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Federal Republic of Russia, who confirmed that the relations between Cairo and Moscow were based on a firm strategic partnership that continued to grow, noting that the celebration within this long-standing cultural landscape had a symbolic significance that reflected the cultural and cultural rapprochement between the two countries and strengthened the bridges of communication between the two peoples.
The celebration saw a high-level presence of Russian senior officials, where the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation made statements on behalf of the Russian Government, during which they emphasized the strong bilateral relations and commended the progress of cooperation and strategic partnership that brought together the two countries, expressing Russia ' s expectation to continue developing these relations in various areas.
The Director of the Bushkin Museum also delivered a speech welcoming the hosting of the ceremony, expressing the empathy of the Museum in hosting this Egyptian national event, and stressing that this event reflects the role played by culture in promoting dialogue among peoples, particularly in the light of the distinctive set of Egyptian effects that are one of its most outstanding achievements.
Speakers concluded by stressing the importance of further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Egypt and Russia and broadening the prospects for cooperation in the common interests of both countries.
The celebrating programme included the participation of Coral Moscow in the music of the chamber, which provided a distinct performance for Egyptian and Russian national anthems, along with a series of Egyptian and Russian astronomical songs that reflected the rich cultural heritage of the two countries.
The guests of the ceremony also had an exceptional opportunity to look at a series of Egyptian artifacts and rare cold papers from museum acquisitions, a number of which were first presented, as well as tours within museum halls, including the Egyptian section, which includes one of the main Egyptian archaeological groups in Russia.
The ceremony was widely praised by the presence, including government officials, members of the diplomatic community, parliamentarians, media professionals and academics, as well as the children of the Egyptian community in Russia, who confirmed that this commemoration was a milestone in the process of Russian Egyptian relations, reflecting the ongoing development at the formal and grass-roots levels and the entrenchment of the role of culture as a bridge for communication and understanding between the two countries.
