The Rural and Environmental Industry Support Fund of the Ministry of Social Solidarity represents the Arab Republic of Egypt in the activities of the 39th Session of the Surajkund International Crafts Mela Exhibition, India, with the participation of 26 models and exhibits from our home exhibitions of handicrafts and heritages, which have provided a variety of Egyptian artisanal artisanal artifacts reflecting the richness of traditional heritage and craft, and highlighting Egyptian cultural identity with its original details.
The exhibition is one of the most important and important international exhibitions specialized in arts and arts, attracting annual wide participation from various nations of the world, and constitutes an international platform for cultural exchange and support for creative industries.
This year ' s session, under the theme " From Local to Global " , emphasizes the role of traditional crafts as bridge between local identity and global markets.
Egypt ' s participation this year is within the framework of the partner State (Partner Nation) of the exhibition, reflecting its long-standing cultural standing and its prominent role in preserving the arts of heritage, supporting and empowering craftsmen and promoting the presence of Egyptian creative industries on the international scene.
On its first day, the Egyptian wing saw high-level visits, including the visit of Mr. Kamel Zeid Kamel Ghalal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to India, as well as the visit of the Vice-President of the Republic of India, where Professor Ange Yamani was received by the Executive Director of the Rural and Environmental Industry Support Fund, and expressed their admiration for the Egyptian presentations of its high quality, artistic diversity and unique cultural character reflecting Egypt ' s local to global spirit.
