The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation has increased the highest level of readiness in its various sectors and governorates, in conjunction with the approach of the blessed Eid al-Adha, within the framework of an expanded plan aimed at securing citizens ' meat and commodity needs and ensuring market stability during a season of high demand for suburbs and food products.
Through these movements, the Ministry seeks to alleviate the economic burdens of citizens by increasing the supply of municipal and imported meat, expanding government outlets that provide goods at lower prices than markets, as well as intensifying veterinary and health control over markets, massacres and exhibitions.
15,000 cattle to cover Christmas needs
The Ministry of Agriculture has revealed the provision of approximately 15,000 live municipal suburbs, including cows, gyms, sheep, goats and lubricants, through production sector farms, agrarian reform and the General Agricultural Reform Authority, in collaboration with a number of private sector farms.
The Ministry determined the prices for sale in the existing kiloware, where the price of cows was Pound190, the gasoline was Pound160, the sheep recorded Pound220, the goats were Pound240 and the £200 per kilo, in an attempt to raise competitive prices below the free market levels.

The Ministry confirmed the support of massacres in veterinary doctors and screening crews for pre- and post-screen detection, to ensure the safety of current meat and to protect citizens from any potential health hazards during the Al-Aqrah season.

For his part, Hitham Abdelbasit, head of the Al-Qaqabin Division, confirmed that markets were experiencing a great deal of meat supply, both within the butcher shops and through consumer pools, noting that government outlets offered Sudanese and Djibouti meat at rates of between 350 and 400 pounds per kilo.
