Therefore, in our view, if the war on Iran is transformed into a long and unambiguous commitment, it may reinforce the impression that military power, however far it may not be sufficient to manage the complexities of the twenty-first century, which the United States must be well aware of.
Current round
Winning the current round is not a success, but success lies in avoiding an equation in which the United States wins a battle and loses a strategy in the Middle East.
We can highlight the most important economic consequences of the war on Iran as follows: first, the potential for an escalation in the disruption of navigation in the Hems Strait, through which large quantities of oil and gas are destined for Asia and Europe, and in the event of prolonged closure or conflict widening, the world may face one of the largest energy shocks decades ago, with wide effects on markets, consumers and Governments, where oil prices jump by up to 13% to over $82 per barrel 2025.
Global inflation
It will certainly reflect global inflation and the rate of economic growth as well, with wide influences on markets, consumers and Governments. The rise in oil prices means a high cost of transport, manufacturing and consumer goods, which reinforces inflationary pressures during a time when central banks around the world are trying to control prices after the Corona pandemic crisis, the Russian-Ukraine crisis, Israel ' s war on Gaza, accompanied by a trouble in the money markets, a decline in investor ' s confidence and a marked slowdown.

مع ضرورة الربط بين أن صدمات الطاقة الكبرى غالباً ما تسبق فترات ركود، وأن التأثيرات لا تأتي دفعة واحدة، بل عبر موجات متتالية تبدأ بالطاقة والنقل، وصولاً إلى التدفقات المالية وثقة المستثمرين. لا سيما وأن المضيق الضيق الذي يفصل بين إيران وسلطنة عمان يعد أهم ممر نفطي عالمياً، إذ تمر عبره يومياً أكثر من 14 مليون برميل من النفط الخام، أي نحو ثلث الصادرات المنقولة بحراً، إضافة إلى قرابة 20 % من صادرات الغاز الطبيعي المسال، معظمها من قطر ومتجهة إلى آسيا، ومصر، ورغم عدم كونها طرفاً في الصراع، إلا أن موقعها الجغرافي الإستراتيجي يجعلها في قلب التداعيات المباشرة لا على هامشها، لذلك فإن المشكلة لا تكمن في حدة الصدمة بقدر ما تكمن في مدتها، لأن الصدمات الطويلة تستنزف الهوامش المالية تدريجياً، ولكن ما يجعلنا على ثقة أن الاقتصاد المصري اليوم أصبح أكثر قوة مما مضى، لكنه ليس بمنأى عن العاصفة.
سلاسل الإمداد
ثانياً: أن التداعيات الإقتصادية للحرب على إيران ستمتد لتضرب سلاسل الإمداد العالمية ،مع تراجع الاستثمارات الأجنبية غير المباشرة قصيرة الأجل لصالح الملاذات الآمنة، نتيجة التذبذب الحاد في الأسواق العالمية وعدم استقرار عملية التسعير. لذلك فإن العامل الحاسم سيكون في هدوء القرارات وسرعة التكيف وإدارة التوقعات، لأن الخوف في الأزمات ينتشر أسرع من الوقائع نفسها.وهو ما اكدته كلمة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسى خلال حفل إفطار القوات المسلحة، والتى جاءت خطابا وطنياً تاريخياً ، كشف بوضوح حجم التحديات التى تواجهها المنطقة، وفى الوقت نفسه بث رسالة ثقة راسخة بأن مصر قادرة على حماية أمنها وصون استقرارها مهما تعاظمت الأخطار. وللحديث بقية إن شاء الله.
