The Minister of Labour approves the payment of Pound331 million for non-regular employment registered with the Ministry. The grant has seen two consecutive increases over the past two years, with the Minister ' s decision in December 2024 to raise the value of regular non-regular employment grants from 500 to 1,000, and a new decision on 17 April 2025 to increase it from £1000 to £1500.
Non-regular employment grant
Tomorrow, Tuesday, 17 February 2026, the Ministry of Labour begins to disburse the irregular employment grant on the occasion of Ramadan ' s blessed month of £1500 per worker through the Republic-level post offices, using the national figure, which was issued to alleviate the burden of living before the beginning of Ramadan Karim. The Ministry announced that the total amount of the grant amounted to £331.6 million, benefiting more than 221 thousand workers in 27 governorates.

Financial appropriation
This grant is an important part of the Social Protection Decision Package of the Political Leader, which has been approved by the Ministry of Labour, and may be disbursed from the Central Account for Social and Health Care for the irregular employment of the Ministry.
