The General Union of Doctors extends its sincere congratulations to Dr. High Hassan Abdelfattah, Professor of Critical Cases at the Faculty of Palace of Eye, Chief of the former Critical Cases Section, and Founder of the Architecture Survey Unit of the Department, on the occasion of her winning the Gold Medal for the Global Impact on Nuclear Heart Medicine of 2026, which is one of the highest international scientific features in this specialization.

The Union stressed that this high international achievement was a source of pride and pride for all Egyptian doctors and reflected the remarkable scientific position of the Egyptian doctor on the world stage, thanks to his research and professional contributions affecting various medical disciplines.

The union expressed its sincere wishes to Dr. High Hassan Abdelfattah in the interest of reconciliation and success, and to continue the process of excellence and achievement.

It should be noted that Dr. High Hassan Abdelfattah is a pioneer of nuclear heart medicine at the international level, where she participated as a founding member of the American Society of Nuclear Heart Medicine in 1993, and was the first to introduce the applications of this specialization into the field of global critical case medicine.

The atomic cardiovascular mapping unit has also been established by the Critical Cases Section at the Al-Aynian Palace, through which it has led several leading clinical studies and research that have contributed to the development of diagnostic and treatment methods for critical patients and has become a scientific reference in this area.

Dr. High Hassan Abdelfattah is also one of the first teachers who volunteered and tried to participate in teaching courses organized by the Continuing Vocational Education Centre of the General Union of Doctors (SCOPE) and provided outstanding scientific and educational contributions to the preparation and training of doctors, and is responsible for training at the Egyptian School of Critical Medicine, led by Professor Cherif Mukhtar, is a medical link to the Medical Association and plays a prominent role in the training of New Generation.
