
Closing the events of a conference «Step up.» Held at the October 6th Sports Club, in a community and research initiative on pharmacy and biotechnology.
The conference was co-chaired by Dr. Rahab Abdul Momen, Professor of Industrial Pharmaceutical at the University of Egypt for Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Committee, chaired by Rowan Mohamed, Executive Director of the Conference, under the auspices of Dr. Abdellatif Sabi, Chairman of the Club, and with the presence of Walid Taher, Executive Director of the Club.
Dr. Sama Sharif presented the events of the Conference, as an effective link between final-year students and graduates from pharmacies, biotechnology, and the multiple applied sciences, to identify the developments in the labour market, upgrade their professional skills and engage in practical opportunities and training in various medical sectors.
The conference saw the holding of three scientific sessions, involving selected lecturers and specialists in various medical fields, as well as two workshops on many practical skills and applications of graduate students.
Recommendations of the Conference
Dr. Rahab Abdel-Moneim presented the recommendations of the Conference, which stressed the modernization of school curricula, with attention to the industrial pharmacy of the strategic importance of the Egyptian State, emphasizing the importance of expanding the manufacture of raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry and strengthening the role of universities as one of the main arms of the State in achieving pharmaceutical security.
Abdul Mumye announced a contest. «Make your chance with your hands.» The best applied research idea for university students, as well as their emphasis on coordination with the Consumer Protection Service, to provide workshops and training courses for students, on the legal framework of pharmacological practices, regulations and legislation governing drug trade, at the individual and corporate levels.
