The Ibero-American Cinema Week is an annual cultural event that brings together every year the Ibero-American cinema and culture and is aimed essentially at spreading the diversity of Ibero-American cinema production in Spanish and Portuguese.
For several weeks of October, long and diverse novel films, part of the cultural essence of each participating country and representing a strong and interconnected cultural industry, are presented in Cairo and Alexandria.
This year, 13 American Ibero-American States participated: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.
The thirteenth session of the Ibero-American Cinema Week will begin in Cairo on 7 October and until 19 October, an American Ibero film will be displayed every day at the Thurbants Institute in Cairo at 7:30 p.m. Entry is free until the completion of the number and films will be accompanied by Arabic or English translation.
On the other hand, the fifth session of the Ibero-American Cinema Week will take place in Alexandria at the Thurbants Institute in Alexandria between 14 and 26 October, and the same long films can be seen free of charge (until the total number allowed).
