The Architect Randa Al-Shaawi, Minister of Housing, Facilities and Urban Communities, followed the position of implementing a number of projects and work files in the new city of Mania, in the context of advancing the development rates of the new cities of El-Aid.
The Minister of Housing stressed the importance of continuing follow-up to the implementation of the ongoing projects in the new city of Mania and coordination among the various stakeholders to overcome any impediments that might be encountered in implementation, ensuring that projects are completed in accordance with the scheduled time programmes, and supporting the State ' s efforts in developing the cities of the field and providing integrated Omaran communities to meet the needs of citizens.
In this context, the Minister of Housing received a clearer report, during which Engineer Mohamed Al-Azouani, head of the New Mania City Development Authority, showed that the housing sector had completed 32 blocks under the fifth phase of the Presidential Initiative, housing for all Egyptians, 29 of which included units with 90 square metres and 3 blocks with 75 square metres of units, as well as the completion of 6 medium housing blocks.
The head of the organization noted that a commercial market of 8 commercial shops for new residential areas had also been completed, with 71 blocks of 1704 income-limited housing units under the Presidential Initiative, housing for all Egyptians, and 64 green building blocks continued to be implemented within the initiative, as well as preparation for the introduction of accompanying services, including a school and a nursery, and the continuation of the 21st Diyana project.
The Minister of Housing also followed up on the implementation of a number of new buildings infrastructure projects, including the installation of a 300-mile radius to feed the 150 acres, with the expansion of the main sanitation station No. 1 and the completion of the first phase, as well as the implementation of the 310 acres and the completion of the final alphamah with a 150 acres project.
