The President of the Doctors Prof. Dr. Osama Abdul Hayy and the President of Alexandria Doctors Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Fawzi, opened the Center for Continuing Medical Education at the headquarters of the sub-union, which comes within the framework of supporting the training and professional development of doctors and raising their scientific and practical efficiency.
During the opening, the President congratulated the crowds of Alexandria doctors on the opening of the center, stressing that continuing medical education is a key pillar for developing medical practice and improving the quality of health services provided to citizens.
He also thanked the Council of the Alexandria Medical Association for their efforts to establish this scientific edifice, hoping that it will become an effective platform for training and exchange of experiences between doctors.
The new center is an important addition to the medical education system, as it aims to organize training courses and specialized scientific programs to help keep pace with the latest developments in the medical field.
The center is accredited by the Egyptian Health Council, which strengthens its position as a scientific and training center qualified to provide advanced educational and training programs for doctors in various disciplines, and confirms the keenness of the union to provide a sophisticated scientific environment that contributes to supporting the process of continuing medical education and doctors service.
The third phase of the development of the union headquarters was also opened, in a new step aimed at improving the services provided to doctors and creating an environment worthy of their status.
This came in the presence of Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Qadi, Secretary General of the Medical Association, Dr. Mohamed Farid Hamdi, Rapporteur of the Disciplinary Committee of the Medical Association, and a number of members of the Board of the Syndicate, including Prof. Dr. Maha Ghanem, Deputy of the Association, Prof. Dr. Duaaa Genena, Assistant Secretary General, Prof. Dr. Amani Al-Banna, Rapporteur of the Scientific Committee, Prof. Dr.
كما شارك في الفعالية عدد من الشخصيات العامة والقيادات الطبية، من بينهم الأستاذ الدكتور محمد صبحي أستاذ أمراض القلب، والأستاذ الدكتور عاصم عبد الرازق أستاذ التخدير والعناية المركزة، والدكتور أحمد زغلول نقيب أطباء البحيرة، والأستاذ رزق الطرابيشي نقيب الصحفيين بالإسكندرية، والدكتور أحمد رجب مدير مشروع العلاج بالإسكندرية، والأستاذة الدكتورة عزة زكي أستاذ التشريح بكلية الطب جامعة الإسكندرية، والأستاذ الدكتور مصطفى عبد العزيز، والأستاذ الدكتور أشرف فرحات أستاذ التخدير، والدكتور علاء عبد المجيد مدير مستشفى المركز الطبي بسموحة، إلى جانب النائبتين الدكتورة سارة النحاس والدكتورة راوية مختار.
وكانت المرحلة الأولى من التطوير قد شملت تحديث مدخل النقابة، إلى جانب تركيب مصعد لخدمة الأطباء والزائرين تيسيرا لحركتهم داخل المبنى.
وأكدت نقابة أطباء الإسكندرية أن أعمال التطوير تأتي في إطار خطة متكاملة لتحديث المقر وتحسين مستوى الخدمات المقدمة للأطباء، بما يعكس تقدير النقابة لدورهم المهني والإنساني، ويجعل من مقرها مساحة أكثر رحابة وحداثة تستقبل أبناء المهنة وتدعم رسالتهم.
