As part of the fruitful cooperation between the Soyes Canal Authority and the Journalists ' Union, the Group witnessed the opening of the intensive training programme for journalists in Canal, East, Dahaliyah, North and South Sinai, organized by the Union in cooperation with the Egyptian Press and Information Observatory, at the Centre for Innovation and Excellence of the Ismaila District.
The Engineer, Nasreddin, Director of the Communications and Information Systems Department of the Authority, Professor Mohamed Saad Abdel Hafid, Under-Staff for Training and Professional Development, journalist Ashraf Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Observatory for Press and Information, and leaders of the Centre for Innovation and Excellence.
The events began with an opening statement by Working Group Osama Rabbi, in which the Commission was keen to strengthen its community role through cooperation with various State institutions and open cooperation with professional trade unions, expressing appreciation for the important role of the Journalists ' Union in promoting national awareness among journalists and expressing the interests of the country.
The Chairman explained that the Suez Canal attached great importance to the development of the professional training system for UN-Women personnel within the UN-Women ' s strategy to upgrade the human element and improve the efficiency of all disciplines according to the most modern technology globally through the Academy of Maritime Training, Simulation and the Centre for Innovation and Excellence.
The Group noted in spring that the Centre for Innovation and Excellence extended its training services to include external programmes and coordination with various State institutions and sectors to organize and host training programmes in various disciplines.
For his part, Professor Khaled Al-Balchi, a journalist captain, emphasized the union ' s desire to upgrade the professional and knowledge level of journalists through specialized training courses in various fields of journalistic work and modern applications in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital information.

He praised the potential of the UN-Women Creative and Excellence Centre as an important platform for specialized training programmes through training rooms equipped with the latest supply, explanation and interaction.
The Balshi looked forward to opening new possibilities for cooperation with the Suez Canal Authority through a cooperation protocol in the light of the Union ' s desire to activate its communication with various State institutions and to achieve effective communication for discipline in the media message.
Professor Mohamed Sa ' ad Abdul Hafiz, trade union agent, emphasized that cooperation with the Centre for Innovation and Excellence was a good opportunity that would contribute to the training process of the trade union, citing in this regard the development of media content by the current training programme of fellow journalists, training in the areas of digital transformation and content production, through an intensive four-day training programme involving specialized training in press release, and the Mobile press, thus enhancing the professional and technical capacities of participants.
The Centre for Creation and Excellence of the Soyce Canal is a specialized academy for the delivery of training programmes and consists of seven training rooms, comprising two language and technology courses, three practical and administrative training rooms and a training hall in cooperation with Simens, as well as an executive conference room and a video recording studio.
The visit included a cruise at the New Soyce Channel, and then the Suez Canal Museum.
