The team was led by Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, who attaches great importance to the development of Egypt’s transport system.
Fleet Update
The program included the presentation of film materials highlighting the achievements of the state in the field of transport. These achievements included modernization of the fleet and upgrading of stations. Some misconducts that endanger the security of citizens were also addressed, such as crossing slides while they were closed and setting up illegal crossings. It was stressed that such practices not only lead to casualties, but also impede the movement in general.
Communicating with the community
The seminar received a remarkable interaction from students and teachers, where participants expressed their appreciation for the efforts exerted by the National Railway Authority in building a bridge of communication with the community.
They pointed to the importance of these meetings in promoting a culture of respect and maintaining public facilities, stressing that the continuous development of the railway system reflects the commitment to provide safe and advanced services in line with the requirements of the modern era.
These initiatives coincide with a comprehensive awareness plan implemented by the Ministry of Transport in cooperation with a number of institutions, including the Ministries of Awqaf, Youth and Sports, in addition to Al-Azhar and the Egyptian Church. These efforts aim to spread the culture of preserving public property and build a conscious generation that understands the importance of the responsibility to protect facilities as part of national giving, thus contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
، These events represent an important step towards enhancing community awareness, which contributes to building a cohesive society that ensures the safety of all its members.
