The Chief Executive of the General Investment and Free Zones Authority, Hossam Haebah, revealed the launch of a new innovative initiative aimed at supporting emerging companies in accessing global markets, which includes operational programmes aimed at enhancing available financing opportunities, thereby enhancing Egypt ' s position as a leader of the activities of emerging companies in the Middle East and Africa region.
He stressed the importance of entrepreneurial leadership and innovation in enhancing the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy, and noted the active role played by actors such as the Techne 2025 Summit in supporting the paths of emerging companies by providing financing and investment opportunities, enabling young people to transform their ideas into sustainable projects that contribute to the economy and society.

It also reviewed the Commission ' s ongoing efforts to support business leadership, noting the hosting of a unit for emerging companies, which coordinates the various actors to promote this growing sector, also examines the application of global best practices in the Egyptian market, and cooperates with the economies of the region to facilitate the expansion of Egyptian emerging companies in global markets, thereby increasing economic efficiency and enhancing financing and employment opportunities.
The achievement of the objectives of the Egyptian Development Strategy (the vision of Egypt 2030), which included support for innovation, export promotion and strong relations between scientific research institutions and different industries, required continued active support for the sector, thus contributing to the creation of appropriate employment opportunities and the promotion of growth driven by knowledge and technology. These steps confirmed the commitment of the Egyptian Government to catalysing the vital emerging corporate sector.
