Egypt Energy and Firefox 2025.. A new start towards a safe and sustainable energy transition

Egypt is poised to upgrade its position in the field of clean energy and industrial safety by organizing the "Egypt Energy" and "FireX Egypt 2025" exhibitions, which will be held from October 14 to 16 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo, according to the statement issued on October 1.

The initiative is in line with the National Energy Strategy and Egypt’s Vision 2030, providing insights aimed at accelerating the energy transition and boosting industrial safety standards in North Africa.

Misr Energy Exhibition includes specialized forums that meet the needs of the sector, under the theme of "accelerating innovation and enhancing flexibility in the value chain of the electricity sector", enabling the active participation of various stakeholders.

The Renewable Energy Leadership Conference will be a focal point to review practical strategies to support Egypt’s efforts to achieve the target of 42% renewable energy by 2030, focusing on the country’s unique geographical potential in the fields of solar and wind energy.

"Future electricity systems" will also receive attention in specialized sessions that will showcase smart infrastructure-based technology solutions, focusing on the importance of digital meters and the development of transport networks, as well as strategies to address climate challenges to ensure that grids can absorb more renewable energy.

There will be plenty of room for innovation through competitions that connect clean technology companies with investors, providing the financial support and partnerships needed to implement solutions to energy sector challenges.

The Energy Systems Excellence Forum will discuss critical infrastructure protection methodologies, providing case studies that provide practical examples of increased resilience without the need for comprehensive restructuring.

This exhibition will be accompanied by demonstrations of various technologies supporting the energy transition, allowing specialists to evaluate innovative solutions before making investment decisions.

In addition, the parallel Fair is of great importance, bringing fire safety professionals together with regulators to discuss risk assessment methods and compliance strategies needed in light of local conditions.

Discussions focus on practical applications rather than theoretical concepts, contributing to effective and realistic outcomes.

The HSE Forum reviews integrated risk management strategies in different sectors and emphasizes the importance of applying global safety standards to suit local contexts.

The forum adds an innovative interactive dimension through a competition aimed at enhancing the level of safety awareness among workers, as well as workshops that equip participants with the skills to effectively implement fire protection systems.

Mark Ring, Group Director, Middle East and Africa Energy Exhibitions at Informa Markets, said that the Egypt Energy and Firefox Egypt conferences will bring together more than 150 experts speaking at the international and regional levels through 50 panel discussions, contributing to supporting the energy sector and enhancing safety standards.

These initiatives aim to build effective partnerships between more than 11,500 participants, stimulating Egypt’s energy transition and fostering continuous collaboration between global expertise and local stakeholders.

Through this diverse gathering, Egypt Energy and Firefox Egypt 2025 seeks to establish a strong base for achieving tangible results in adopting renewable energy and enhancing safety standards in Egypt’s key economic sectors.
