The security authorities have decided to hold a person in order to charge him with breaking into the Jaraj area of the Atrain district of Alexandria governorate, and to chop up and sell a historic car belonging to the late Egyptian President Jamal Abdul-Nasser.
The details of the incident are due to the fact that the Atrian Police Department received a notice from the Help Police Department that there was a report from the residents about noises from a nearby motel.
A security force immediately moved to the author ' s location, where it managed to bust a person while he was cutting and stealing a car from inside the store in preparation for selling it as scraps.
Investigations revealed that a businessman had previously purchased the car through a public auction and kept it in a garage as a rare historical acquisition, which was found to be a model of 1961 and belonged to the late President Jamal Abdul-Nasser.
The accused was found to have continued for three months to infiltrate the store through the open ingredient of the Manor building, the property adjacent to the car and the sale of parts of the car, without knowing its historical and genetic value, justifying his actions during interrogation by passing through financial hardships which prompted him to steal and sell.
A record of the incident was released and the accused was referred to the prosecution service.
