The Russian House of Cairo hosted a technical exhibition entitled " Ramos of civilizations " , among the events of the seventh session of the Sohag International Forum of Innovators on the Arab Line and the Modern Arts, in a cultural event that enriched the role of art as a universal language of dialogue among peoples, highlighting the depth of cultural relations between Egypt and Russia by highlighting the beauty of the Arab and Russian Lines as one of the most historic identity symbols of the peoples.
The exhibition saw the participation of more than 35 constituent artists from the province of Suhag, as well as a number of Egyptian artists and Arab States, where they presented work that varied between oil painting, water colours, graphics and the Arab line, as well as acts that inspired the beauty of Russian letters, reflecting the richness of Egyptian art experience and its ability to open to other cultures while preserving their inherent identity.
The work presented also included paintings inspired by the legacy of the great Russian poet Alexander Bushkin, the founder of the modern Russian literary language, to preserve his status as one of the most prominent symbols of Russian culture, and a message that literature and art constitute a common human language that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries.
In his speech at the opening of the exhibition, Denis Brunikov, Deputy Director of the Russian Cultural Centre, stressed that art was a global language capable of promoting communication among peoples, noting that Russian and Arab writing traditions were not merely a means of transferring knowledge, but reflected the history, values and vision of nations for the world, and that such events contributed to opening new prospects for cultural dialogue and fostering rapprochement between Russia and Egypt.
The exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Comic artist Adel Metaou, the founder of the Sohag International Forum of Innovators, which succeeded in transforming the Forum into a cultural platform that brings together artists from various Egyptian governorates and Arab States, contributing to the visibility of the formational movement in Egypt, providing space for creativity and interaction with international expertise.
