(African Egyptians) organizes visits of African delegations to the castles of the Egyptian clothing industry

The activities of the commercial field visits organized by the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association began this morning, with the participation of a number of representatives of the private and government sectors from the African continent.

The visit of the State of Namibia to the Arab Republic of Egypt includes the identification of industrial and productive capacities in the sectors of ready-made clothing, textiles and medicines.

Strengthening trade and investment cooperation between Egypt and Namibia

The visit aims to enhance trade and investment cooperation between Egypt and Namibia and explore partnership opportunities in vital industrial sectors.

Dr. Yousri El Sharkawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian African Businessmen Association, said that we have started a systematic series of effective processes and procedures over the past two years and began to promote and meet through a series of virtual meetings with our counterparts in African countries, and we provided a model of field introduction that yielded distinctive results during our work in the next IATF conference hosted in Cairo in November 2023 and we have shown well the needs of markets and challenges, and we have begun the stages of activation.

Al-Sharqawi expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the Egyptian political leadership towards the presence of the Egyptian private sector in the heart of the continent and that today's visit to the trade delegation headed by the Minister of Commerce of Namibia is a culmination of the efforts exerted and consistent with the credibility of what we have provided since the presence of now more than 17 companies from the members of the Association began working with African brothers in various sectors.

Continental Free Trade Agreement

Al-Sharqawi stressed that the association is taking serious steps in activating the agreement and the association is working to support all its serious and active members wishing to enter African markets and deal with the continent through its offices in 24 countries within 53 African countries, which operate according to the system of founding members in cooperation with the Egyptian commercial representation and offices in the continent as well as Egyptian embassies and diplomatic missions in Africa.

For his part, Mohamed Ali Sabah, Chairman of the International Trade Committee of the Association, said that his company is one of the most important industrial companies in the field of ready-made clothing and textiles, and that the company has put in the restructuring plan how to be present in the regional markets, specifically African and that the company's success in manufacturing for the local market and a number of famous international brands and chains of large stores, which increased mutual experiences and took areas of trust in Egyptian products and foreign markets exchange.
