The Holy Qur'an and animal welfare: Many people abuse animals, but they do not know that these are spirits and there are many Quranic verses that urge to be kind to them and treat them well and take care of them. Animals have societies just like humans live and reproduce. In Surah al-An'am, verse 38: "There is no beast in the earth; there is no fly flying in its wings, but there is none like it." The verse describes that all animals live in a way that God placed them in communities under the obedience of God and the obedience of God's laws on earth. 41: Do you not see that God gives praise to him who is in heaven, earth, and air? Verse 10: "And he laid her to sleep."
Finally, teaching children animal welfare is very important, as it contributes to building their personality in an integrated manner and promotes many positive values such as empathy, responsibility and respect for life. Animal welfare may seem like a social luxury to some, but what you should know is that educating children is an essential part of raising them to respect the environment in which they live.
