The Archbishop Yahya Abu Al-Fuheh is preparing to assume his functions formally as Executive Chairman and as a member of the Reconstruction and Housing Bank from the beginning of July, behind Hassan Ghanim, who is resigning from his post.
The Board of Directors of the Bank for Reconstruction and Housing had formally agreed to accept the resignation of Hassan Ghanem from his post as Executive Chairman and a delegated member of the Bank, with the formal decisions of the Board meeting sent to the Egyptian Stock Exchange Administration to brief the market and customers.
Candidacy of Abu Al-Foufah
The Governing Council ' s decision included the nomination of Yahya Abu Al-Fahwa for the post of Executive Chairman and the delegated member of the Bank, in recognition of his extensive banking experience and career, where he was one of the most prominent banking leaders in Egypt and had over 35 years of experience in the banking sector.
Growth plans
Aboul Fatouah has served as Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian People ' s Bank since September 2020, and during his tenure he has participated in leading growth and development plans and enhancing the Bank ' s financial and operational performance, as well as contributing to the management of many strategic files.
The Yahya Abu Al-Fuha banking trip began in 1983 following his accession to the Bank of Egypt, where he was included in many leadership positions, to gain extensive experience in the areas of banking, credit and risk management, before working in a number of major banking institutions, including the Bank of America and the Arab Bank, where he served as Vice-President.
