The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Grand Museum was held by the Minister of Tourism and Abbreviations, Sharif Fathi, the first meeting of the Board after the official publication of the Museum.
At the meeting, the Minister welcomed Khaled Hassan, Professor of Egyptian Implications, University of Cairo, who had issued a decision by the Prime Minister to act as Deputy Executive Chairman of the Archaeological Commission.
During the meeting, the Executive Chairman of the Museum clarified the developments in the museum during the previous period from the beginning of the opening date in which some 79 States participated.
He confirmed that there was a great reception at the museum of Egyptian and foreign visitors, and that on the first day of the opening of the museum to the public there were approximately 19,000 visitors.
He also explained that the Museum was taking a number of regulatory actions to manage the density, including the introduction of the time-limiting system of the electronic reservation system, in accordance with temporary booking nets. Shref Fathi praised the efforts of the Museum ' s work-room and Ligasi Development and Administration, which were working on the operation of the services, and also stressed that the significant approach to the museum was regarded as pride and pride of Egypt.
A list for photographic and video services within the museum, whether for commercial or media purposes, was approved during the unanimity.
