In a statement to the General Union of Veterinary Doctors, the Ministry of Agriculture, represented by the State Veterinary Services, has cost the preservation of animal wealth, thereby enriching its role in the fight against cattle fever.
The General Union also paid for the role of the Authority and veterinary directorates for their tireless work in periodic immunization and inspection campaigns.
The union indicated that the rapid movement of the Authority in monitoring the disease and providing vaccines has resulted in the vaccination of over 1.5 million livestock so far within the national campaign.
The statement added that the trade union called on all stakeholders to engage with veterinary services to take preventive action, particularly as winter approaches, and called on educators to cooperate fully with the field teams to ensure that their livestock are immunized and protected from losses.
The trade union concluded by reassuring citizens that the epidemiological situation was under control, emphasizing the safety of the meat offered in the markets as long as it was fluctuated in official massacres under veterinary supervision.
