A few days ago, the " Treatment Project Development " session was launched within the activities of the Doctors ' Sub-Confederations Conference 2026 to discuss ways to develop the treatment system of the Federation of Medical Trade Unions and to enhance its efficiency in order to ensure better health services for members, with growing numbers of participants and the need to expand the benefit of the project.
Dr. Abubakar, Secretary-General of the Medical Association and Secretary-General of the Federation of Medical Trade Unions, confirmed that the treatment project was one of the most important trade union services provided by the Federation to its members, particularly after the age of pension, noting that it was one of the oldest treatment projects in professional unions and was currently undergoing a continuous development process to address observations and improve the level of services provided to participants.
During the " Development of the Treatment Project " session of the Conference of Doctors ' S Trade Unions 2026, the judge explained that the project was increasing annually in the numbers of participants, reflecting the confidence of members in the service, emphasizing that the Federation was working to develop the project on a continuous basis to make the best use of doctors and their families.
He noted that the project ' s philosophy was based on interdependence among members of the Federation, according to which studies indicated that, should the participation rate reach some 80% of the members of the Federation of Medical Professionals, the value of support per capita could exceed Pound250, reflecting an improvement in the level of treatment coverage and health services provided to participants.
The number of current participants was still less than hopeful than the total membership of the Union, which called for intensified efforts to spread a culture of participation in the project to benefit from the benefits of the symbiotic system.
The judge stressed that the Federation was open to all proposals and ideas that contributed to the development of the treatment project, emphasizing that the recommendations made at the meeting would be examined and work on the implementation of the interests of medical professionals.
The meeting, entitled " Development of the treatment project " , was chaired by Dr. Ahmed Al-Baltaghi, Rapporteur of the meeting, Dr. Abdul Nasir Al-Bahiri, Secretary of the meeting, Dr. Abubakar Al-Jadi, Dr. Wail Abdul Momen, and Professor Esam Rajab, as part of the activities of the Subcommittee of Trade Unions of Doctors 2026.
