The Ministry of Social Solidarity has announced the completion of the work of the Central Committee of the Father ' s Pilot Competition in its present version in preparation for the proclaiming of the winning fathers and honoring the light models of the initiative launched by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
The committee, which was chaired by Engineer Margaret Sarofim, Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity, attended by members of the Committee from the leadership of the Ministry, representatives of the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the Orthodox Church, the House of Representatives, the National Centre for Social and Criminal Research and the Will Spring Foundation, and the initiative of the Arab Foundation for Community Development.
The Committee met to assess parents ' stories, following the conclusion of the country-level social solidarity directorates of the committees for the selection of parents at each governorate level and the escalation of each governorate ' s nominations for the final list of selection at the republic level.
The Committee has reviewed 49 nominations for an extended father after the application of the terms of the total of 130 applicants. All the nominations applicable to them have been examined and the selection criteria for those who have applied directly to directors through local committees.
The Central Committee has completed its work to select 10 fathers in the natural father category and 2 fathers in the father category of a son with disabilities who have made an extraordinary effort in the care and integration of the child into society with a distinction in one of the sports and scientific fields - artistic, and 2 fathers in the alternative parent of a child who have taken care of children other than his biological children " sponsor " and 2 fathers of child martyrs of the armed forces and the Ministry of the Interior.
This initiative, implemented by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, supports and strengthens family ties between members of society and strengthens the role of the father in the Egyptian family.
The Ministry had announced the opening of the contest in June of the year running for the selection and honour of 16 parents representing inspirational models in child-rearing and family support, including 10 fathers, 2 fathers of a child with disabilities who had made an extraordinary effort in the care and integration of the child into society, with a distinction made in one of the sports, scientific, technical and 2 fathers of an alternative child who had been caring for children.
The selection criteria for a normal parent or father of a child with disabilities included a single tender story containing positive messages with children and society as a father and at least the age of the father, with at least 50 years of age, with at least an average appropriate qualification, not more than three children, except for border governorates, north of Sinai, the new valley, a small schoolyard, and the execution of all children who are highly qualified.
