Dr. Maya Marcy, Minister of Social Solidarity, held a meeting with the University Social Solidarity Units Project Team to follow up on the latest preparations and arrangements for the effectiveness of Start 2026, scheduled for 19 June at the Egyptian Grand Museum.
During the meeting, the Assistant Secretary of Solidarity overseeing the University Solidarity Units project reviewed the final operational position of effectiveness, including organizational and substantive aspects, the rates of achievement for the processing of different areas of effectiveness, participants ' reception mechanisms, operating plans and the management of accompanying events.
The Minister was also briefed on the latest status of the numbers recorded for START through the Stuart platform,
The master plan of the event has also been reviewed within the territory of the Great Egyptian Museum; a training and operation area with 250 companies and areas for vocational guidance will be allocated to more than 70 professional mentors, the workshop area, as well as the area for the transfer of expertise to a large theatre of experts, business leaders, government representatives and the private sector, with a review of pastoralists who provide support for effectiveness where the cost of the event is borne by a range of sponsoring companies.
The Minister of Social Solidarity heard a detailed explanation from Dr. Ezzedine Faraj and Omar Barbre, representatives of OBM, the State Enterprise for the Strat Summit.
The logistical and technical details of the day are fully included and the speakers ' agenda and guests of honour reviewed during the Summit.
Dr. Maya Mercy stressed that the effectiveness of Start 2026 was an important national platform for linking youth and students to rehabilitation, training, employment and economic empowerment paths, stressing the need to complete all equipment in accordance with the highest organizational and technical standards, so as to ensure that participants had a distinct experience and to achieve the objectives of effectiveness.
Dr. Maya Mercy commended the fruitful cooperation and coordination with the Grand Museum of Egypt and the support and facilities it provided for the success of effectiveness, as well as the cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and project partners. The success of Start 2026 reflected a model of complementarity between State institutions, the private sector and development partners in supporting and empowering young people.
The effectiveness of Start 2026 is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Social Solidarity to promote youth preparedness for the labour market by providing an integrated platform combining rehabilitation, counselling and direct communication with companies, institutions and partners, contributing to expanding economic integration opportunities and building a more sustainable career for Egyptian youth.
