Recent data from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on Internet usage indicators revealed the continued growth of high-speed Internet services (fixed broadband), along with a slight increase in the ratio of mobile Internet users from a total mobile subscriber, from March 2025 to March 202.
The data showed that total fixed-line contributions continued to increase gradually, with 11.87 million contributions recorded in March 2025 and increased to 12.86 million in February 2026, reaching 12.95 million in March 2026.
This track reflects an annual growth of 9.02 per cent, compared with a monthly growth rate of 0.64%, which indicates the continued expansion of the ground Internet user base, driven by the development of digital infrastructure and greater reliance on electronic services in various sectors.
With regard to the ratio of mobile Internet users in total mobile subscribers, data rose slightly during the same period, at 74.46 per cent in March 2025, to 74.82 per cent in February 2026, up to 75.15% in March 2026.
This indicator recorded an annual growth rate of 0.69 per cent, compared with a monthly growth of 0.32 per cent, reflecting a relative stabilization of the pace of growth, with high dependence on mobile Internet services continuing in daily use
