The General Secretariat of the Federation of Medical Trade Unions invited members of the Federation ' s General Assembly to participate in an expanded panel discussion aimed at developing the work and services of the Nasser Federation Club on Tuesday, 16 June, at 12 noon at the Federation headquarters, to hear their proposals and views on how best to make use of the club ' s potential to maximize the benefit of members and their families.
The Federation ' s Governing Council was keen to involve members of the General Assembly in discussing important issues and files, as the primary partner in decision-making and in shaping the future of the services provided by the Union, noting that real development started listening to the needs and aspirations of members.
She explained that the club currently had a headquarters for the treatment project serving members of the new towns of Nasr, Egypt and Fifth Collection, as well as a football field and a summer swimming pool, as well as an old building for the restrooms, which required consideration of the best alternatives and proposals to maximize the utilization and development of such assets commensurate with the needs of current and future members.
The discussion session aimed to develop an integrated vision for the development of the club and transform it into a service, social and recreational centre that met the aspirations of the four trade union members and their families, stressing that all proposals and ideas to be put forward would be studied and of interest by the Federation Board of Directors.
She stressed that the Union believed in the importance of dialogue and consultation with members of various files, building on a participatory and transparent approach, contributing to the upgrading of services provided and maximizing the utilization of the Union ' s resources and assets to serve members.
