The Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Osama Abdul Hai, welcomed the decision of the Minister of Health and Population, Mr. Khalid Abdalgfar, to extend the licences issued during the course of 2021 until 31 December 2026 to facilitate the participation of doctors.
In this regard, the Doctors ' Captain announced an agreement with the Ministry of Health and Population to develop an executive mechanism to facilitate access by doctors.
He explained that it had been agreed with the Ministry of Health that a doctor wishing to obtain a statement that the licence would continue to apply to its sub-union, accompanied by a licence to engage in the profession in force or near completion.
The sub-union would compile requests from physicians, with a delegate from the General Medical Association heading to the Department of Licensing of the Ministry of Health to extract the required statements and then redistributing them to the sub-unions for delivery to doctors.
The doctor ' s captain confirmed that this mechanism was within the framework of the union ' s coordination with the Ministry of Health to facilitate administrative procedures for doctors.
Dr. Khalid Abdalgfar, Minister of Health and Population, had issued a ministerial decision to continue the work of licences for the medical profession issued during 2021 until the end of the current year, with the central administration of non-governmental therapeutic institutions and licences to issue a continuing application of the licence at the request of the author.
