Dr. Engineer Mohamed Abd al-Ghani - Captain of Engineers, met with a delegation from the Ashrai-Cairo Society (American Society of Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers) to examine ways to strengthen joint cooperation and develop rehabilitation programmes for Egyptian engineers in line with international standards.

During the meeting, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Gani stressed that it attached great importance to the development of the technical and specialized level of engineers, emphasizing the need to focus on critical areas, including the refrigeration and adaptation sectors, which would contribute to increasing the efficiency of the Egyptian engineer and enhancing its opportunities in the labour market.
The strategic objective was to equip Egyptian engineers in accordance with international standards, allowing them to compete and operate in various external markets, noting the importance of providing international certificates at subsidized and reduced prices to expand the beneficiary base.
The trade union sought to conclude agreements of an international nature with various professional associations, which would contribute to the opening of new prospects for cooperation, and make the Egyptian engineer a domestic and international requirement. The current stage was a real challenge that required a rapid pace of rehabilitation and professionalization of graduates.
Abdel Gani stressed that the trade union in Spaq over time had brought about a qualitative shift in the level of engineers by providing advanced training programmes and certified international certificates, as well as supporting specialized corsat at appropriate prices, thereby contributing to the preparation of large numbers of qualified engineers for the labour market.
During the meeting, the Ashiri Cairo delegation reviewed the history of the Assembly in Egypt, which began in 1995 and has gradually expanded to three branches, establishing the Biramids branch in Geza and the Alexandria branch. The delegation also referred to the organization of the exhibition and the International Conference on Refrigeration and Adaptation, which is an important platform for exchanging experiences in the areas of refrigeration, adaptation and energy.
The Ashiri delegation stressed that the Society had been providing services for more than 30 years, including support for the educational process through a scientific committee that organized seminars and workshops for university students, as well as programmes for new graduates, including recruitment forums, to link graduates to the labour market, as well as continuing education programmes for engineers in their mid-career, which included advanced training courses and recognized international certificates in the United States.
