With each new Hijri year, specifically in the month of Rabih I, the whole of Egypt is preparing to receive a guest dear to the heart, it is the anniversary of the Prophet's birth, the birth anniversary of the Prophet of Mercy and Guidance, our Lord Muhammad. The streets are filled with lights and decorations, the country is full of joy, and the prophetic chants and praises that express the highest feelings of love and loyalty to the seal of the prophets and missionaries.
The roots of celebrating the birth of the Prophet in Egypt
The celebration of the Prophet's birth in Egypt dates back to the Fatimid period (969-1171), when the state celebrated it as an official occasion. The celebration included large banquets, handouts and sweets, especially "birth pudding", which became a milestone associated with this fragrant anniversary.
As the ages passed, the form of the celebration evolved, adding male rings and the singing of prophetic poems, and flourished in the Mamluk era as sultans and princes raced to erect tents, feed food, and commemorate the nights with male mentions and exclamations. Egyptians have their own character in the celebration, which combines authentic popular manifestations with deep spiritual expressions, to turn the birth from an official occasion to a popular holiday carried by every Egyptian in his heart before his street and home.
Pray for the Prophet.

Atonement for sins and elevation of degrees:The more a slave prays to the Prophet, the more his sins will be forgiven and his place in Paradise will be raised.

Reminder of example:Praying for the Prophet brings back to our minds his fragrant biography and generous manners, urging us to imitate him in our behavior and dealings.
Heart Safety:It cleans up the heart of glory and hatred, and fills it with the love of the Prophet, praying to God for it, peace and good love for people.
Remembrance.:In life, praying on the Prophet brings us back to the essence of our faith, and reminds us of the ultimate goal of our existence, namely, the prophecy approach and its year.
The celebration of the noble birth of prophecy is a living embodiment of the love of a nation for its messenger.
Egypt ' s celebration of the noble birth is not merely a tradition or a habit, but a living embodiment of the love of a nation for its messenger, an expression of its joy in presenting to this world, light and a gift, a precious opportunity to remember the perfume, and to begin to reform ourselves and our society.
