The Russian Egyptian Friendship Society held its periodic meeting in the Russian house in Cairo on the occasion of the celebration of Learning Day, in the presence of selected diplomatic, cultural and scientific personalities.
The meeting was moderated by the Director of Cultural Activities of the Russian House, the Secretary-General of the Friendship Society, with the participation of Dr. Vadim Zaychikov, Director of the Russian Cultural Centres in Egypt, and the former Egyptian Ambassador to Russia, D. Azzat Saad, Vice-President of the Friendship Society.

He began the meeting with great pleasure in commemorating this important occasion, stressing that science remained the cornerstone of the progress of States, noting that Russian Egyptian cooperation had resulted in the implementation of 98 joint projects in multiple areas, including high dams, and continued cooperation in the nuclear flask plant project, reflecting the depth of the scientific partnership between the two countries, and stressing that the will and the scientific community were able to overcome any challenges or problems that might arise in the way of development.

He pointed out that Russia was the first country to rise in space and that a large number of Egyptian scientists had graduated in Russian universities, which continued to see an increasing reception from Egyptian students, even European and American students, for their scientific distinction.
Dr. Vadim Zaychikov began by welcoming the guests of the Russian house and presented an important research paper during which he reviewed the most notable scientific achievements of Russia since the beginnings of the twentieth century, highlighting its many contributions to the humanitarian march in the fields of science, technology and space, such as the first industrial moon in 1957, the manufacture of the first spacecraft in 1961, the installation of the arts motel 1937 satellite, and the 1869 satellite, and the alphanexile.

For his part, Ambassador D. Ezet Saad stressed the importance of not neglecting the considerable efforts of Dr. Vadim Zaychikov and Cherif Jed, President of the Association of Graduates, in supporting cultural and scientific relations between the two countries, and noted that during his diplomatic service he had touched the close of the great development of Russian universities, which had become a distinct educational destination for students from different countries of the world.

The Ambassador addressed the depth of Egyptian-Russian relations, particularly in the areas of military cooperation, citing last year ' s celebration of the memory of the sixth anniversary of October, the role played by Russia in supporting Egypt, as well as other stations that contributed to the establishment of extended relations.

وأوضح أن مشاركته في منتدى العلماء الشباب بسوتشي 2025 أتاحت له مناقشة هذه الرؤية مع نخبة من العلماء ومراكز الأبحاث الروسية، لا سيما فيما يتعلق ببناء أنظمة علمية وتجارية قوية تقوم على القيمة الحقيقية للتبادل، وتوظيف التكنولوجيا والذكاء الاصطناعي لخدمة الاستدامة والتنمية.
واختتم اللقاء بعرض فيلم تسجيلي عن أهم المنجزات العلمية في روسيا في القرن العشرين.
