The price of iron in Egypt stabilized on Sunday, 25.1-2026 in the markets, after a decline of about 4,000 pounds last month and a recurrence of some companies.
Local markets for the next month anticipate the determination of the new price of iron ton for the next month, in a state of continuous follow-up by enterprises and consumers, especially with the importance of iron as one of the main components of the construction materials sector.
The price of iron ton today in Egypt recorded levels ranging from £35,000 to £37,000 at the price of the plant, reaching the consumer with an estimated increase of £1000 per ton, depending on the governorate or the type of iron companies, to an average of about £35,000.
For his part, the Chief of the Building Materials Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce confirmed that iron prices were markedly stable in the local market, following the decline in prices of companies and distributors during the past period.
The recent decline was about £4,000, which was reflected in the stability of the price of selling iron to distributors, where prices ranged from £35,000 to about £37,000 per ton.
Iron prices in factories were as follows:
• Single iron price: £34800.
• Bhai iron price: £34600.
• Egyptian iron price: £35,500.
• Garage iron price: Pound32400.
The price of iron was recorded at a rate of £35,000 to £37,000 per ton, while the average price of some distributors in the governorates of the Republic was about £35,000 per ton, based on the monthly price and the declared fixed price, with slight variations depending on the type of factory, company and geographical distribution areas.
Iron is one of the most important raw materials used in construction materials, with many relying on it for the implementation of various physical projects, which makes price stability a factor in the movement of construction and construction during the current phase.
