
Ala Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, declared that Egyptian Agricultural Exports Over 7.2 million tons to date, showing an estimated increase of approximately 600,000 tons over the same period last year.
This statement is based on a comprehensive report submitted to the Minister by Dr. Mohamed Al-Mansi, Chief of the Central Forestry Administration, which addressed the most important statistics on agricultural exports and their development of performance during the current season.
Salts on the export list
The top salts in the export list were occupied by more than 1.9 million tons, followed by fresh potatoes by more than 1.3 million tons, fresh onions of about 256 thousand tons, while beans (fresh and dry) recorded about 231 thousand tons, and potatoes in the fifth place exported about 190 thousand tons.
The list of major exports also includes grape, mango, fresh tomatoes, garlic, German, strawberries and jungle.

Egyptian agriculture sector
The Minister of Agriculture stressed that this increase reflected the continued development and high competitiveness of the Egyptian agricultural sector in global markets, stressing the Government ' s commitment to developing this sector and opening new markets for Egyptian products, while maintaining the highest quality standards to ensure their access to different world markets.
Integrated efforts by farmers, producers and exporters
Farooq noted that the success achieved was the result of integrated efforts by farmers, producers and exporters, as well as regulatory actors such as quarantine and reference laboratories, which played a central role in promoting the process, highlighting that the Ministry continued to provide the necessary support for increased production and export development, thereby contributing to support for the national economy and food security.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Al-Manssi pointed out that this major leap in exports stems from our commitment to the most recent international standards that ensure the quality and reputation of Egyptian products on the world market, while continuing to open new markets and implement effective regulatory regimes to ensure smooth export operations and remove any obstacles that may be hindered.
