The events of the first training course for lawyers on new technical remote litigation mechanisms were launched today, in implementation of the provisions of the new Code of Criminal Procedure, which is scheduled to enter into force as of 1 October next, with the participation of 100 lawyers.
As part of the cooperation between the Ministry of Justice, the Bar Association and the Ministry of Communications, the course is ready to activate the electronic litigation system and the digital transformation of the justice system, where the course has seen a significant interaction by the lawyers who have sought to enquire about the mechanisms for the application of new systems and the handling of electronic applications introduced by the criminal courts.
During the events of the session, Chancellor Mahmoud Ameli Al-Sharif, Minister of Justice, welcomed the co-counsel of lawyers, emphasizing his interest in participating with them in this important training course, and stressing the central role of lawyers in justice.
The Minister of Justice said: " We welcome you to the Ministry of Justice, and we are keen to participate with you in this session. You are one of the wings of justice, and the justice system is complete only with the presence of a judge and a lawyer defending rights, and lawyers of the highest profession, and we appreciate it very well.
The Ministry of Justice welcomed all proposals and ideas that contributed to the development of the electronic litigation system, emphasizing the importance of direct communication with lawyers and hearing their views and inquiries to ensure the optimal application of the new system.
The session saw an extensive discussion among lawyers and officials of the system, where participants raised numerous queries regarding electronic working mechanisms, and made a number of proposals and recommendations aimed at developing the system to serve the litigation process and contribute to the achievement of effective justice.
One of the most notable proposals put forward by lawyers was the need to make the case files available electronically to the lawyer and to include them in the digital system, thus facilitating the working procedures and enabling counsel to fully perform his message, a proposal that received attention and interaction during the discussions.
Remote trial simulation and practical experience were also conducted during the course of the session to turn the voice into a written text within the new electronic litigation system, thereby contributing to the acceleration of proceedings and accurate and efficient documentation of case and judicial statements.
The Bar Association, headed by Dr. Abdalalem Flam, Captain of the Bar Association, President of the Arab Bar Association, had announced the opening of registration to the lawyers to participate in the first training course on remote litigation systems and electronic applications introduced by the criminal courts.
وتُنظم الدورة وزارة العدل بالتعاون مع نقابة المحامين ووزارة الاتصالات بمقر وزارة العدل بالعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة، في إطار الاستعداد لتفعيل أحكام قانون الإجراءات الجنائية الجديد واستكمال جهود التحول الرقمي بمنظومة العدالة.
وتهدف الدورة إلى تدريب المحامين على استخدام منظومات التقاضي عن بُعد، وإجراءات التسجيل بمنظومة حضور المحامين إلكترونيًا، والاستعلام عن قرارات المحكمة من خلال منصة إدارة الدعوى الجنائية، إلى جانب التدريب على منظومة تقديم المستندات عن بُعد وتقنيات تحويل المرافعات الصوتية إلى نصوص مكتوبة.
وتستهدف الدورة تدريب أكبر عدد من المحامين، على أن يتم تنظيم دورات مماثلة بمختلف محافظات الجمهورية خلال الفترة المقبلة، بما يضمن التطبيق الفعّال للمنظومات الإلكترونية الحديثة وتحقيق العدالة الناجزة.
وتيسيرًا على السادة المحامين، وفرت نقابة المحامين أتوبيسات لنقل المشاركين من أمام مقر النقابة العامة إلى مقر انعقاد الدورة بالعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة.
