Facilitate the issuance of the national ID card through mobile convoys without queues

As part of its ongoing efforts to improve the level of service provided to citizens, the Ministry of Interior is working to allocate integrated field convoys to support the sector. Civil Status- Yeah. These convoys come equipped with high technical and logistical capabilities, and aim to facilitate the process of extracting national ID cards and important documents in several governorates, such as Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia, Minya, Assiut, Dakahlia, Matrouh, Lake, Menoufia and North Sinai. These efforts have recently resulted in the issuance of 8,685 national identity cards and 39,680 machine documents.

In view of the high turnout in these convoys, it was decided to extend its activity in these governorates from September 13, in order to meet the needs of citizens and facilitate their access to necessary services.

Receive calls from citizens via short numbers

In a related context, the sector continued to receive calls from citizens via short numbers allocated to the service. This has led to rapid processing of applications, with 783 national ID cards and 121 automated documents delivered on the same day of application to citizens’ homes.

The sector has also responded to the needs of an important segment of society by sending orders to 72 humanitarian cases, including patients, the elderly and people with special needs, to complete the procedures of obtaining and renewing national ID cards and delivering them.

Special assignments.

Within the framework of these initiatives, special tasks were assigned to extract and renew the national ID cards of employees and visitors to the administrative capital and a number of private clubs, where the cards were extracted and delivered to 265 citizens. The center continued to receive applications from the elderly and people with special needs under the slogan "able to vary", where the national ID cards were extracted and renewed for 423 cases.

These efforts have been highly appreciated by citizens, with many reporting positive impact in facilitating access to services and reducing time and effort. This comes in light of the Ministry of Interior's keenness to adhere to the values of human rights and provide services to citizens in a humane and sophisticated manner.
