The United States of America, the State that once imposed its decisions on the entire planet, is now excluded from the scene, not by the enemy, but by its allies.
While Donald Trump is furiously tempted to social media as a man who screams in the embassy, France, Japan, the Philippines, Britain and dozens of other nations -- quietly and systematically -- are holding deals with Iran behind his back.
What's happening now is not just a bad week in the foreign policy record of Trump, it's the rearrangement of an all-inclusive geyus... the international system led by America has ended, and it is time to build something else.
France has not used military force, but has used diplomacy. I have gone to the Security Council and used the veto to prevent any military invasion or forced reopening of the Harms Strait.
