Social solidarity organizes a field visit to the Sons of the Charity Society of the Cairo International Expo.

Samia al - Faqi

The Ministry of Social Solidarity organized a field visit to the children of the Society of Goodwill in the Day to the events of the fifty-seventh session of the Cairo International Book Exhibition, held under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Abdelfattah Al-Sissi, President of the Republic, from 21 January to 3 February 2026.

The visit is part of a series of sustained activities carried out by the Ministry to open the prospects for cultural participation of children with disabilities and to allow them to interact directly with knowledge and educational actors in one of the largest cultural events in the region.

The visit included a tour within the Ministry of Social Solidarity wing, which includes an integrated suite for children, where children actively participated in recreational and educational activities offered, under the supervision of specialists from the General Directorate of Rehabilitation Services.

The children offered their handicrafts products within our crafts and heritage exhibition pavilion at the exhibition, which made children with visual disabilities happier.

The Ministry of Social Solidarity participates in a distinctive feature of the Cairo International Book Fair, reflecting the State ' s orientation towards the full integration of persons with disabilities, including the presentation of rehabilitation centre products, the provision of inspirational models and experiments, the provision of Braille books and audio versions, an interactive commentary in Braille, as well as a platform for issuing an integrated service card, a specialized point for information and participation.
