Ali El Ghamraoui, President of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, held an important meeting with a delegation from Biogenetics, headed by Dr. Mohamed Rabie, where the meeting aimed at strengthening the national pharmaceutical sector and investing in the field of vaccines and biopharmaceuticals, as announced in the report. The meeting discussed Biogeneric’s role in biopharmaceutical production, as well as focusing efforts on its current projects that include biopharmaceutical production and specialty vaccines. The company’s ambitions to expand into future product lines were also mentioned.
Representatives of Biogenic expressed their appreciation for the support provided by the Egyptian Medicines Authority, stressing that the Authority’s efforts in facilitating the registration of medicines reflect the government’s trend towards enhancing local manufacturing and upgrading the pharmaceutical industry. They also expressed their satisfaction with the Authority’s keenness to strengthen partnership with companies in this field, where they reviewed the technological capabilities and advanced infrastructure that support the industrial expansion plan.
