Strict penalties to ensure compliance
To ensure the implementation of the provisions of the law, deterrent penalties have been put in place, including fines of up to Two hundred thousand pounds. Anyone who violates the rules of work stipulated in Articles (18 and 19). Licensees are obligated to provide appropriate training to employees to protect their health and safety, and in the event of non-compliance, the court may take actions that may amount to revocation of the license itself.
Adherence to environmental standards
Article 18 of the law refers to the need for entities working in waste management to provide a healthy and safe working environment. These entities are required to apply established occupational safety and health rules, in addition to providing the necessary training for employees, to ensure the continuity of business efficiently and safely.
