Minister of Finance Ahmed Kajouk said that the final account to be presented for the fiscal year 2025/2026 will be prepared with a new vision, where it will be presented differently than before, whether to the citizen, investor or the media to reflect the volume of what has been achieved in different sectors, whether health, education, economic activity or export.
This came during the meeting of the plan and budget committee of the House of Representatives headed by MP Mohammed Suleiman, on Tuesday morning, to discuss the draft final account of the state budget for the year 2024/1025, which is held before the announcement of the expected ministerial amendment.
He added that the presentation of the final account is not just numbers in tables, but are reflections of how millions of citizens were affected, saying: "The final account has many details."
Kajok stressed that four priorities are high when setting any budget, namely building the roots of trust with the business community and revenue interests, not just taxes, and managing fiscal policy on clear bases, including fiscal discipline.
