Zaki added that the union pays great attention to demanding the appointment of veterinarians in related sectors, such as the Food Safety Authority and the General Authority for Veterinary Services, to achieve the ambitious goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030. He stressed that these demands aim to bridge the existing gaps and achieve self-sufficiency in meat and dairy, in addition to addressing undernutrition in children and confronting common diseases such as rabies.

For the health care branch, 947 new veterinary clinics were registered and 575 doctors were enrolled in the specialists’ schedule, with veterinary supervision provided on the sale of 1,749 livestock.
On the other hand, the union organized 55 training courses with the participation of 4,850 doctors, using remote training techniques via Zoom, and 376 new medical analysis licenses were issued, in addition to the launch of the electronic archiving project for all files and records.
Zaki concluded his message to the President on behalf of young graduates, expressing their aspirations to be part of the national development strategy and build the new republic, by devoting their scientific and professional skills to the service of the country.
