Arab Finance: The price of the United States dollar has been markedly stable in front of the Egyptian pound with the beginning of today ' s dealings, Wednesday, 27 August 2025, in various Egyptian banks.
The exchange rate for the dollar at the local bank was £48.54 for purchase and £48.64 for sale; the Bank of Egypt maintained the same price, registering £48.54 for purchase and £48.64 for sale.
At the Central Bank of Egypt, the average price of the dollar was Pound48.52 for purchase, while it was Pound48.66 for sale.
The World Trade Bank also recorded a price of £48.54 for procurement and £48.64 for sale.
It should be noted that the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Egypt will hold its periodic meeting on Thursday, 28 August 2025, to discuss developments in interest rates.
