On 16 November, the Administrative Court of Justice, Chamber III, set a date for the hearing of the proceedings brought by the Egyptian journalist Raymond to invalidate the work of the General Assembly of the Journalists ' Union last May, as well as the nullity of all its acts and decisions and the results of the election of the Journalists ' Union.
Case No. 622/20/79 of 2025, filed by the Egyptian journalist Raymond, and the invitation by Mr. Captain of Journalists and the members of the Election Supervisory Committee, was silent on several defences of the nullity of the holding of the General Assembly from legal, administrative and procedural irregularities, contrary to the requirements of the General Assembly established by Act No. 76 of 1970 governing the establishment of a journalists ' union and the internal regulations governing the proceedings of the Journalists ' Association.
