
In a dramatic shift, the Interior Ministry has prepared to reveal details of a recent harassment incident, where a video was circulated showing two girls being verbally assaulted while walking down the street. What began as verbal harassment quickly developed into physical assault, injuring one of the girls and bringing down her damaged mobile phone.
On the 13th of this month, the girl who was present at the incident submitted a report to Talkha police station, in which she monitored all the details of the attack. The security services were able to quickly identify and arrest the defendants, and by confronting them they confessed to their heinous acts.
Immediately after the arrest, all necessary legal measures were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution, which immediately began investigations. This incident highlights the need to intensify efforts to address the phenomenon of harassment and continuing violence in society, as the state seeks to provide a safe environment for all.
