Engineer Margaret Sarfum was pleased to participate in this effectiveness, which is witnessing the launch of the Good Society for Humanitarian Assistance, as a new addition to the Egyptian community ' s work system, stressing that, despite the recent establishment of the Assembly, it launches an ambitious humanitarian vision that reflects the spirit of interdependence within Egyptian society and its continued ability to give and support the most-favoured groups.
The Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity stressed that the Egyptian State had believed in the vital role of civil society in achieving development goals, with the considerable support of the political leadership of that sector, referring to the announcement by His Excellency Mr. President of the Republic of 2022 years of civil society, and the founding of the National Alliance for Developmental Action in the same year.
Civil society comprised more than 35,000 associations and community institutions working in various social, economic, health, education and other areas. In recent years, there had been a marked development in its roles and areas of work, enhancing its capacity as a key partner in achieving sustainable development.
The Ministry of Social Solidarity had worked to provide a supportive and catalytic environment for community action through a clear strategy aimed at empowering, building and providing technical and financial support to civil society institutions, as well as strengthening partnerships with different stakeholders, thereby contributing to a real and sustainable development impact on citizens and supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals and the vision of Egypt 2030.
وأشارت صاروفيم إلى الشراكات الناجحة بين القطاع الحكومي والمجتمع الأهلي لتحقيق المستهدفات التنموية، ومن بينها التعاون في إطار مراكز تنمية الأسرة والطفولة التابعة لوزارة التضامن الاجتماعي بقرى المبادرة الرئاسية “حياة كريمة”، باعتبارها نموذجًا متميزًا للتكامل بين الجهات الحكومية والأهلية لخدمة المجتمع، من خلال التعاون بين وزارات التضامن الاجتماعي والتربية والتعليم والتنمية المحلية والتحالف الوطني للعمل الأهلي التنموي، حيث نجحت تلك المراكز خلال عامها الأول في تقديم خدماتها لنحو 40 ألف مواطن، بما أسهم في تحسين جودة الخدمات المقدمة للأسر والفئات المستهدفة.
واشارت صاروفيم الى دور صندوق دعم مشروعات الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية باعتباره صندوقًا وطنيًا داعمًا لمشروعات الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية، حيث يعمل من خلال محور التدريب والتأهيل على رفع قدرات العاملين بالجمعيات، إلى جانب التنسيق مع المنظمات وشركاء التنمية لتحقيق أهداف تنموية مشتركة مع المجتمع المدني، بما يعزز التنمية المستدامة والعدالة الاجتماعية والمناخية، ويلبي الاحتياجات الإنسانية، ويعزز قيم المواطنة الإيجابية والعمل التطوعي.
وفي ختام كلمتها، أعربت نائبة وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي عن تمنياتها لجمعية ضى الخير بالتوفيق والنجاح في أداء رسالتها الإنسانية والتنموية وخدمة المجتمع.
ومن جانبها، أكدت الدكتورة حياة خطاب، رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية ضى الخير للمساعدات الإنسانية، أن الجمعية تعمل وفق رؤية تستهدف التخفيف من معاناة الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة والفئات الأكثر احتياجًا في مختلف مناحي الحياة، وتشمل مجالات عملها المساعدات الاجتماعية، ورعاية الفئات الخاصة من ذوي الإعاقة، ورعاية الطفولة والأمومة، وتعزيز الصداقة بين الشعوب، فضلًا عن تنفيذ برامج الإغاثة الإنسانية والاستجابة للاحتياجات المجتمعية المختلفة.
