The EGX 30 index closed at 34,761.97, down 2.7%. EGX70 EWI Index About 0.24% closed the period at 10,871.18 points, while the EGX100 EWI index recorded a decline of 1.13% closed the period at 14,344.33 points.

The EGX 33 index fell by 2.84%, closing at 3,490.86 points. The EGX30 Capped index fell 3.02%, closing the period at 42,681.36 points.
Total Trading Value
The total value of trading during the current week was about 239.4 billion, while the amount of trading about 5,530 million papers executed on 518,000 transactions.
This compares to a total turnover of EGP 395.3 billion and a turnover of EGP 8,409 million on 627,000 transactions over the past week.
